BOOK READ Family Insanity #7 author Cameron Jace – gh4crew.co.uk
Defying Shadows (Rising Shadows eSndearing as it was it just doesn t compare to what Jace has done in the last two instalments He has made me a fan not just because he chose to write a dark Alice in Wonderland tale which is my favourite "kind of tale but because his passion and growth Oh and his charactersLet s face it it "of tale but because his passion and growth Oh and his charactersLet s face it it the characters that have fuelled this series Until I closed this book and realised I wouldn t have another instalment waiting for me tomorrow it didn t ven occur *to me how attached I d grown to Alice Pillar and their *me how attached I d grown to Alice Pillar and their growing circle They re just so lovable Family is definitely a character driven than previous instalments and it has worked wonders for the series as a whole Keeping veryone in close proximity and or less in the same space for an ntire book has given them room to grow Tom Truckle and The March Hare in particular here although Alice and Pillar also had some really great development specially in regards to their relationship Their interactions are definitely my favourite part of any Insanity book the dark Alice in Wonderland thing has been done to death but I think this is the first time I ve seen the Caterpillar as Alice s primary companion so it s uite refreshing Plus Jace never A Fairly Honourable Defeat ever takes anything too seriously like so many dark Alice in Wonderland writersgame devsetc tend to do The pure and utter nonsense involved in some of the puzzles dialogue and motives took me a while to get used to but it s the way Lewis Carroll would have wanted it if he could you knownvision a twenty first century England and Alice with a mobile phone Pillar is the heart and soul of this series and if you can t get on his level then you Re Never Going To Get It I never going to get it I really interested to see how the series progresses in Mushroom specially now things are starting to come together and uestions are being answered I would really like to see some development with Alice and Jack assuming he s Alice s nd game love interest because I m still on the fence about their relationship I m starting to see the chemistry there slowly but surely Still I feel like Alice and Pillar would be far believable by a long stretch and I can only assume with a name like Mushroom the next instalment is only going to cement my fervent belief that there are sparks flying between them because Pillar is clearly going to be a focal character But yeah I don t have much left to say without bordering on spoiler territory so I ll leave it there If you re intrigued by this series but have any trepidation due to it s length the writing style or the fact that you ve read something like it before don t Just read it You can thank me late. R host's intentions Will she figure our who the Pillar really is The Dude Jack Can she stop the Wonderland War What is the Wonderland War ven aboutAnd what about the 'Wonder' note the Pillar gave Alice a while ag.
Cameron Jace á 5 Free downloadThis went uphill and thank god This was so *incredibly surprising because it was really good and I really njoyed it I wanted so desparately to have something *surprising because it was really good and I really njoyed it I wanted so desparately to have something before classes start So that when I m in lecture I m not ignoring my professor s comments on why steel is better than plastic for this particular application so that I can puzzle over Pillar s motives instead But alas this is not the nd of the series It s an interesting plot with plenty to keep you moving But there s a book 8 that s not out yet Sorry college professor it s not my fault I can t focus I am having the sneaking suspicion that there will be 14 total That is kind of the magical number isn t it And so sorry Mr Jace I m ignoring your series xcept for while I puzzle it out in class until you re done with the whole thing I don t think I can take thinking I m almost at the nd only to discover I m not Gone (Gone, even close again Another great book by Cameron Jace I was given anarly copy by the author for an honest review I finished 12 chapters in two days this book is greatAs a lover of Alice in Wonderland I fell in love with the series instantly This one continues to pull me farther down the rabbit hole so much so that I am actually watching less TV Why can t kids find books that do the same thing I found this book action packed and having uestions than answers at the beginning I still find myself doing my own research when it comes to some of the facts places and Threads Of The Shroud events in the story Jace puts what looks like uite a bit of research and thought into his books which tells me he trulynjoys creating his booksThis time around it gets personal for Alice as it deals with who her real family is and where she came from Picking up where Checkmate left off Alice begins to uestion not only her sanity but her family as well Events from The seventh book of the series keeps up with Alice who now tries to find her real family Okay honestly I didn t get all "Hyped Up On This " up on this because it s been a long time since I started this series but it was a nice read This got All Seated on the Ground even complicated if that couldver be possible The book in general was Untitled. easy to read fast pac What could I say without repeating my statements from the last reviews of this book seuelNothingAgain greatntertainment and finally some revelations However it is still xciting because there are some open and very important uestions left I am really looking forward to Insanity 8Thank you so much Cameron Jace for this great adventure I m not bragging but guess who made a cover to it pokes on herself Today was supposed to be a new birthday for Black Chess but the Pillar tu. Rned it into a funeral If you d Certainly not a bad book by any stretch of the imagination but this is one of the stranger ntries in the series This is definitely not a plot based story but the trade off is that the characters are completely ntertaining with their speech and actions My biggest complaint is that this book gets too involved with real world politics and terrorism I understand that some commentary is needed to make your book relevant but placing it in this setting was
out of to me So if you re like me and have been reading this since day one you ll get a kick out of it It was better than the last one Hooked againI was very upset at the nd of book 6 because it had begun to feel as we we re starting to on a hook and never getting closer to knowing the real stories of the characters true identity and reasons why the characters did what they had done to help Alice I had vowed that if it felt the same after book seven that I would stop reading until possible the series was over so I could read them all at once This book was redeeming by finally giving us back stories identities and so much detail that I began to connect with the characters on another level leaving me anxious to read the next one I won t be able to wait until the series Jingling Daddys Bells BDSM Menage ends because book 7 was so amazeballs Great job Sir Keep feeding us info as much as you offered in this piece of the puzzle book on your next one I don t normally write reviews but I wanted to talk about this series There are no spoilers ahead so feel free to readspecially if you re yet to read this instalment When I started reading the Insanity series a few weeks ago I was dubious To put it bluntly the writing wasn t great but Jace doesn t consider himself a writer in the conventional sense he refers to himself as a storyteller and I appreciate that sentiment uite a bit So I continued And now here I amThe progression in Jace s writing from the first to the last book is honestly astonishing He has a lot of potential and he s really beginning to grow as a writer The writing in this instalment is still a little bit shakey *Some Of The Dialogue Is *of the dialogue is some twists are glaringly obvious and he tends to retcon a lot of the previously stablished lore of the series but things are really starting to flow now Some lines are downright beautiful and Jace is churning out some really thought provoking sentiments about the world as we perceive it and the socially acceptable madness within our society It s amazing to see a writer progress so much in such a short space of time The first book was released just over three years ago now and Does she know of those invited along and now she has to figure out friends from foesAlways for 'Sacrifice'And the only way out is to sacrifice one of her true family members if not herselfWill Alice figure out he.just out of
